KEF History
The journey of the Khyber Eye Foundation (KEF) began in 1996, with the laying of the foundation stone for the Khyber Eye Foundation Hospital by Mr. Mehtab Khan Abbasi, then Chief Minister of NWFP (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).
Generous donation of the land and 2 million rupees laid the foundation of the noble mission: to provide free, quality eye care to the underprivileged of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
All these great contributions were instrumented by our Board of Directors & Late Senator Haji Muhammad Adeel.
Mr. & Mrs. Suleiman Shah (Late) and the collective efforts of the Board of Directors, KEF was officially established in 1998. Since then, it has grown up as one of KP’s leading charitable Foundation.
