Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Riaz Anwar, Visits Khyber Eye Foundation

Peshawar, September 16, 2023: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Health, Dr. Riaz Anwar, paid an official visit to the Khyber Eye Foundation, where he was warmly welcomed by the hospital’s life patron, Professor Dr. Muhammad Daud Khan, Chairman Muhammad Adnan Jaleel, along with other esteemed members of the Board of Directors and the hospital’s administration team.

The visit commenced with a detailed tour of the hospital facilities, during which Dr. Anwar was briefed about the foundation’s performance and ongoing projects through a comprehensive presentation. The chairman of Khyber Eye Foundation, Muhammad Adnan Jaleel, also briefly shared his thoughts, expressing gratitude for Dr. Anwar’s visit. He thanked the advisor for taking time out of his busy schedule to witness the work being done at the foundation firsthand.

During his address, Dr. Riaz Anwar praised the hospital for its remarkable services and operational excellence. He shared that he had heard many positive remarks about the Khyber Eye Foundation from his close associates and that his visit had confirmed its reputation as a leading healthcare institution in the region. Dr. Anwar highlighted the foundation’s role as a charitable organization providing free medical care to underprivileged and financially disadvantaged individuals, particularly those in need of specialized eye care.

He further commended the tireless efforts of the hospital’s Board of Directors, stating that the success of the Khyber Eye Foundation was a direct result of their dedication and hard work. “This hospital is progressing because of the relentless efforts of all of you. I assure you that I will always be available to assist with the foundation’s development, and if you face any challenges, do not hesitate to reach out to me,” said Dr. Anwar.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Riaz Anwar was presented with a shield as a token of appreciation for his visit and continued support of the foundation’s mission. Additionally, former Chairman Muhammad Ghayur Sethi was also honored with a shield for his invaluable contributions to the development and success of the Khyber Eye Foundation. Another key figure, Mr. Syed Nasir Jamal Shah, was acknowledged for his efforts in implementing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Oracle system, which has helped automate the hospital’s operations, enhancing efficiency and patient care.
