Peshawar Bikers Club Visits Khyber Eye Foundation to Foster Future Collaboration
Peshawar, Pakistan: On April 26, 2025, the Peshawar Bikers Club, under the leadership of Captain Sajid Khan and Vice Captain Hasnain Khan, visited the Khyber Eye Foundation upon the foundation’s special invitation. Sixteen dedicated members of the club participated in this insightful visit aimed at promoting eye health and exploring potential future alliances.
During the visit, all attending members underwent vision screening and eye examinations. Those identified with the need for corrective lenses were provided with their accurate prescription details. Following the screenings, Mr. Obaidullah Siddiqui, Administrator of the Khyber Eye Foundation, conducted a comprehensive tour of the hospital facilities and provided an in-depth briefing about the hospital’s operations and services.
A video presentation was also held in the hospital’s conference room, highlighting the history of the Khyber Eye Foundation, the contributions of its founding members, and the wide range of services the institution offers to the community.
Captain Sajid Khan, a seasoned videographer and photographer, pledged to produce a high-quality promotional video featuring Khyber Eye Foundation and its impactful work, which he committed to sharing publicly. Furthermore, he announced that the Peshawar Bikers Club would actively share updates and highlights of this collaboration on their official Facebook page.
Captain Sajid Khan also expressed the club’s desire to formally establish an alliance with the Khyber Eye Foundation. He shared plans to draft and send a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) proposal. Upon mutual agreement, all current and future members of the Peshawar Bikers Club will have their vision tested and monitored through Khyber Eye Foundation, ensuring early detection of any eye issues arising from their frequent travels on rough terrains.
Additionally, the club proposed that comprehensive vision checkups for their members be conducted every five months. Recognizing the challenges faced by bikers during expeditions, Mr. Obaidullah Siddiqui suggested that in the event of any eye injuries or emergencies during their journeys, Khyber Eye Foundation’s doctors would provide immediate medical guidance via video call consultations.
The Khyber Eye Foundation highly appreciated and endorsed this healthy initiative by the Peshawar Bikers Club, acknowledging their commitment to promoting eye health awareness. Moreover, Peshawar Bikers Club members committed to promoting the Khyber Eye Foundation at every possible platform, further strengthening the bond between the two organizations.
This collaboration marks a promising step towards promoting healthcare awareness among adventure and biker communities while reinforcing the importance of regular eye checkups.
