The Khyber Eye Foundation continued its commitment to providing essential eye care services to underprivileged communities by organizing a free eye camp in Nasarpur, Peshawar, on February 15, 2025. This initiative aimed to offer quality eye care to those who lack access to medical facilities, ensuring that individuals with vision problems receive timely diagnosis and treatment without financial burden.

The camp successfully screened a total of 114 patients, each receiving a thorough eye examination conducted by skilled ophthalmologists and medical professionals. Patients were diagnosed with various eye conditions, including refractive errors, cataracts, and other vision impairments. To address these issues, the foundation provided 115 medicines free of cost, ensuring that those in need could begin their treatment immediately without worrying about affordability.

Recognizing the importance of clear vision in daily life, the foundation distributed 58 near glasses to patients suffering from poor eyesight. These glasses will significantly improve their ability to read, work, and carry out routine tasks with greater ease. The beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for the support, emphasizing how these free services would positively impact their daily lives.

In cases where further medical attention was required, 33 patients were referred to the Khyber Eye Foundation for detailed eye checkups. These individuals will undergo comprehensive assessments and receive specialized care at the foundation’s facility, ensuring that their eye health is properly managed and treated.
