Peshawar, December 7, 2024 – The Khyber Eye Foundation, renowned for its commitment to providing quality and accessible eye care, successfully organized a free eye camp at Ring Road Lari Adda, Peshawar. This impactful initiative aimed to address the urgent vision care needs of the community, offering free medical assistance to those who might otherwise go without proper treatment.

The one-day camp proved to be a resounding success, with a total of 208 individuals benefiting from comprehensive eye screenings conducted by a team of experienced healthcare professionals. During the camp, 162 patients received free medicines tailored to their specific conditions, and 120 near-vision glasses were distributed, enabling patients to experience immediate improvements in their quality of life.

Recognizing the need for specialized care, the camp identified 34 individuals requiring advanced diagnosis and treatment. These patients were referred to the Khyber Eye Foundation’s main facility for detailed examinations, where they will have access to cutting-edge diagnostic tools and expert medical care. This follow-up ensures that no patient’s vision challenges are left unaddressed.
