On August 12, 2024, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, paid a visit to the Khyber Eye Foundation. The esteemed Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Adnan Jaleel, along with General Secretary Mr. Khawaja Yawar Naseer, Finance Secretary Mr. Khalid Sultan Khawaja, Executive Director Mr. Muhammad Luqman Shah, and other board members, including the Administrator Mr. Obaidullah Siddiqui, warmly welcomed Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and his distinguished guests.

The visitors were given a comprehensive tour of the Khyber Eye Foundation, followed by a presentation that highlighted the hospital’s performance and achievements. Chairman Muhammad Adnan Jaleel and other board members briefly shared their thoughts during the event. The board members extended their heartfelt congratulations to Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, expressing their belief that his leadership would further improve the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and lead the province towards new paths of development. Chairman Adnan Jaleel expressed his hope that the Governor would also support the hospital in its journey towards further progress. The Chairman and all board members sincerely thanked Governor Faisal Karim Kundi for taking the time to visit the Khyber Eye Foundation.

After touring the hospital and reviewing its performance, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi praised Chairman Muhammad Adnan Jaleel for transforming the hospital into a modern facility. He expressed his pleasure upon learning that the hospital provides free eye surgeries for the poor and underprivileged. The Governor noted that the hospital is equipped with all modern machinery and is on the path to even greater improvements. He extended his heartfelt thanks to Chairman Muhammad Adnan Jaleel, Mr. Khalid Sultan Khawaja, Mr. Khawaja Yawar Naseer, Mr. Muhammad Luqman Shah, Mr. Muzaffar Khan, and the other board members for inviting him to visit the hospital. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi assured that his services would always be available to the hospital whenever needed.

At the end of the visit, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi was presented with a shield as a token of appreciation. After receiving the shield, he expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chairman and the board members.
