On December 16, 2023, the Khyber Eye Foundation organized a free eye camp at the Dalazak Road Dispensary in Peshawar. The event provided essential eye care services to the community, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to improving eye health and accessibility.

The camp registered 149 outpatient department (OPD) visits, with a significant turnout of women. Among the adult participants, 34 were men and 103 were women, highlighting the foundation’s reach among female attendees. Additionally, the camp attended to 12 children, with 8 boys and 4 girls receiving care.

To alleviate vision problems and enhance eye health, the Khyber Eye Foundation distributed 89 free eyeglasses to those in need. Moreover, 124 free medicines were handed out to treat various eye conditions.

The foundation identified 18 cataract patients during the camp, recognizing the need for specialized treatment. These individuals were referred to the Khyber Eye Foundation for further treatment, ensuring they received the necessary care and support.

The successful execution of the free eye camp underscores the Khyber Eye Foundation’s dedication to providing quality eye care services and addressing the eye health needs of the Peshawar community.
