Peshawar, September 23, 2023 — The Khyber Eye Foundation conducted a successful free eye camp at the Dalazak Road Dispensary in Peshawar. The event aimed to provide accessible eye care to the local community and saw a significant turnout.

A total of 214 patients attended the camp, including adults and children of both genders. The breakdown of the attendees is as follows:

• Male Adults: 44
• Female Adults: 138
• Male Children: 12
• Female Children: 20

The camp provided comprehensive eye care services, including eye examinations and consultations. Additionally, the foundation distributed 112 free eyeglasses to those in need, significantly impacting the community by improving their vision.

Furthermore, 155 free medicines were provided to patients, ensuring they had access to necessary treatments. The camp also identified 49 cataract patients who were referred to the Khyber Eye Foundation for further treatment, underscoring the foundation’s commitment to ongoing care.

The free eye camp was a testament to the foundation’s dedication to promoting eye health and ensuring that everyone has access to essential eye care services.
