Distinguished Ophthalmologists Visit Khyber Eye Foundation

Peshawar, January 18, 2025 – The Khyber Eye Foundation (KEF) was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from CMH Peshawar, including Brigadier Dr. Irshad Hussain Khattak, Senior Ophthalmologist, Colonel Asfandyar, VR Ophthalmologist, and Colonel Owais, Seasoned Ophthalmologist, on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
The esteemed guests were greeted with enthusiasm by KEF’s leadership team, comprising Mr. Muhammad Taimur Shah, Vice Chairman, Mr. Khalid Sultan Khwaja, Director of Finance, Mr. Khawaja Yawar Nasir, Director, and Mr. Ubaidullah Siddiqui, Administrator. The welcoming ceremony set the tone for an insightful and meaningful visit to the hospital.
The KEF team provided a comprehensive tour of the hospital’s facilities, offering an up-close view of its cutting-edge equipment and efficient operations. The delegation was particularly impressed by the modern operation theater, where they observed free cataract surgeries being performed for underprivileged patients. These procedures underscored KEF’s unwavering mission to provide accessible, high-quality eye care to economically disadvantaged individuals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Following the tour, Brigadier Dr. Irshad Hussain Khattak expressed his gratitude to the KEF Board Members and leadership team for the opportunity to witness their impactful work firsthand. In his remarks, he stated:
