On 28 March 2024, the Khyber Eye Foundation held a free eye camp at the Blind Govt Institute for Girls in Peshawar, demonstrating its continued commitment to providing essential eye care services to underserved communities. The camp was specifically tailored for the institute’s residents, with 43 female adult patients attending the camp.

The focused attention on female patients at this specialized institute underscores the foundation’s mission to ensure equitable access to eye health services. During the camp, thorough eye examinations were conducted, and the attendees received personalized care from the foundation’s dedicated team of eye care professionals.

A significant outcome of the camp was the identification and referral of 19 cataract patients to the Khyber Eye Foundation for further treatment. This proactive measure ensures that these patients will receive the necessary surgical intervention to address their cataract conditions, potentially restoring or significantly improving their vision.
